SFIA

The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA), pronounced Sofia, is a global framework that outlines digital and other Information Communications Technology (ICT) related skills, responsibilities, and competencies.

Government agencies, private enterprises, and individuals for workforce planning, recruitment, career path frameworks, and skills assessment utilise SFIA. It has become the accepted language for skills and competencies in the digital world worldwide.

There are seven levels of responsibility and accountability in SFIA, with Level 1 being the lowest and Level 7 being the highest. Each level describes the behaviours, values, knowledge, and characteristics required to be considered competent at that level. The five universal attributes present in each level are autonomy, influence, complexity, knowledge, and business skills.

In addition to the responsibility levels, SFIA lists professional skill definitions from A to Z. The consistency of the levels of responsibility carries forward into professional skills. The levels of responsibility and professional skills work together to describe competence.

Learning Progress

This feature showcases a summary of the training courses assigned to the participant.

Learning Library

This feature showcases the available training and development to enhance the performance of both individuals and teams. The Learning Library is a valuable resource that contains the required training courses that participants will undertake as part of the program, as outlined by the organisation.

Content

Having great content is crucial as it can enhance the experience of both participants and system users. We have developed the Content functionality to assist with digital content collection, management, storage, and publication. Users can create content flexibly or structured, ensuring that the information source remains centralised instead of scattered across multiple locations.

Documents

Having a single source of truth can be a considerable time and energy saver. Proper documentation promotes efficiency, improves communication, and maintains quality control and processes. With the Documents Library, you can manage various electronic assets such as images, documents, and videos. This feature allows you to store important files and documents and easily incorporate them into your training courses within the Learning Library.

Recruitment

Finding suitable candidates for a job can be much work. That's where the Recruitment function comes in. It helps recruiters manage talent acquisition, including identifying, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates.

Within the Recruitment function, there are two key features:

1. Programs: Attracting talented individuals can be complex and challenging. The Programs feature makes it easier by allowing recruiters to create, edit, duplicate, archive/unarchive, and delete program types such as employment programs, expressions of interest, and general registrations.

2. Applicants: Every organisation is unique, but they all must attract, hire, and maximise top talent. The Applicants feature helps recruiters and employers track applicants throughout the recruiting and hiring process, making it simpler and more efficient.
