What We Bring to Candidates

We work with many autistic people on different parts of the spectrum. We provide candidates the opportunity to gain employment in professional work environments with paid contracts whilst also helping them to gain employment experience plus develop work skills and soft skills that can be essential in future endeavours.

With the help of assigned support consultants, candidates will be able to work in an environment that accommodates to their way of working as well as have regular meetups with a support consultant to keep track of their mental wellbeing.

What We Do

We are dedicated to helping people on the autism spectrum get into employment, we collaborate with organisations looking to diversify their workforce by enrolling candidates on a 1, 2 or 3 year program with potential full-time employment at the end of the program. While candidates are learning how to do their day-to-day tasks in their job, they are also developing new skills that will greatly help them in the future.

Why We Do This

We understand that, even for neurotypical people, finding new work and adapting to a new work environment can be tough. That is why for neurodivergent people, we want to provide them with the best opportunities and support to take that next step in their work careers that can bring out their best skills and unlock untapped potential.

**Candidate Selection Process:**

After you apply, the following steps will occur:

1. If your application is approved, you'll be invited to an online information session.  This session is designed to tell you more about the program and the assessment process.  You can ask questions and invite family members or carers who may also want to learn more about the program.

2. You'll be asked to attend a pre-assessment. This includes providing us with a bit more information about you and your availability for work and exercises to test your potential for the types of role being made available in the program. This normally lasts 1 to 2 hours depending upon how much time you need to complete the tasks.

3. A few days after the pre-assessment, we’ll let you know if you've been selected for the 4-day assessment program.

4. The 4-day assessment starts on a Monday and ends on the Thursday of the same week. It is fully supported by our Autism Consultants who you can meet privately with if you have any concerns of need specific support during the assessment.

We’ll take more time to get to know you and your needs during this assessment.  Experts that already do the roles you’re interested in will tell you more about the roles and what a ‘Day in the Life’ of doing that role is like.  You can ask questions about the role and decide if it is the right type of role for you.

You'll also be tested on technical potential, teamwork, and office integration. We look at a range of data points and determine whether the roles are the right fit for you.  Based upon the outcome of this analysis you may be offered a role on the program and we will contact you to advise you of whether you were successful in gaining a role in the program.

Remember, you'll be supported throughout this process by professional consultants and technical mentors. The assessments will be done online, so make sure you have a good internet connection, a working video camera and microphone, and a quiet place at home.
