DXC’s First Nations Program (FNP)
The DXC First Nations Program is a paid employment program designed to identify and recruit people from within the first nations community and provide the necessary workplace and cultural support skills to help build a career.
This is done in a supported team environment with a dedicated First Nations Consultant and team leaders who are culturally competent in working with First Nations people.
DXC Workplaces
DXC have embraced a more flexible and agile work experience with some staff working at DXC’s office sites when the requirement of their role requires a physical presence. Others work from home when their role can be performed remotely online without visiting a DXC office.
Job Description: The role of the First Nations Trainee Administration is to provide dedicated support to case managers in maintaining a registry of certificates, processing invoices, appointment management and any ad-hoc business needs to ensure the success of the business.
Position: First Nations Trainee position as Administration
Note: it is NOT a pre-requisite that you have prior skills in the areas detailed above as you will receive training in these as part of the DXC First Nations Program. Highly skilled instructors from DXC Technology’s Training Academy will deliver a two-week on-the-job job skills training package that will give individualised support training and education for you to carry out the duties of Trainee Administration.

High level of motivation
High level of data entry and keyboard skills
Competent with all Microsoft Office packages (including excel)
Working in an environment requiring the application of confidentiality and discretion
Communication skills in both written and verbal
Customer Service skills with internal stake holders
Resilience and perseverance
Reliability
Location: During the initial training period you will be required to work on-site at DXC’s Macquarie Park office.
Once trained you will be required to work in the DXC Macquarie Park office for 2 days and on the other 3 days of the week you can choose from working at home or either of the two DXC office locations at Macquarie Park or in the Sydney CBD.
Hours: Monday - Friday Between 9-5 contracted for 7.5 hrs per day.
Training: Up to 2 weeks+
Up to 3 days with First Nations Consultant for Untapped onboarding
1-2 weeks DXC Training Academy at DXC Technology Macquarie Park
Go Live in role with specialised on-the-job support.
Important: Successful applicants will initially be engaged on a fixed-term contract basis with Untapped-Talent. There will be future opportunities to transition into permanent roles with DXC based on business requirements, individual performance, suitability, and work skills capabilities.
