DXC’s Autism@Work Programme

The DXC Dandelion Program is a paid employment programme designed to identify and recruit people from within the autistic community and provide the necessary workplace and technical skills to help build an IT career. This is done in a supported team environment with team members who are skilled in working with people on the autism spectrum, as well as support from other neurodivergent colleagues at DXC.


What is an Insurance Technician?

The London Market Business is a joint venture between DXC Technology, the International Underwriters Association (IUA) and Lloyd’s of London, operating in the ‘London Market’.  The ‘London Market’ is a complex ecosystem of Brokers, Managing Agents, Syndicates, Companies and Experts, all of which use shared services to underwrite premiums and pay claims.


An Insurance Technician works in the London Markets Business under the direction of a Team Leader, performing a range of technical checks and processes (processing) and data entry across insurance risks for different customers and classes of business to meet agreed market service levels in respect of quality and turnaround time.


You will receive comprehensive training; but must have an excellent eye for detail and work to a high level of accuracy.

Background

The Joiners, Movers and Leavers (JML) process is a fundamental and vital part of Security and Digital Identity for any organization with an IT Management system in place. It is also an ideal platform for anyone interested in a career IT Security to gain knowledge and experience of how the process works, the importance of accuracy and keeping records up to date.


DXC’s UK&I Digital Identity Team manage multiple secure accounts across multiple business sectors. Each has their own processes and tools that must be adhered to allow the smooth on-boarding, transition, and off boarding of individuals’ accounts.

DXC Technology designs and builds complex solutions for its customers.  As with all business solutions, these these need technical and user support.  First line support is the first point of contact for customer IT support.


The Service Desk Agent responds to customer inquiries that arrive via online chat or email.  The agent logs the ticket, triages the issue and either resolves or redirects the ticket/issue to the relevant DXC team.

DXC’s Autism@Work Programme

Background

The role will sit within the restricted Accounts Secure Infrastructure team within the DXC Security organisation and will through the programme’s training acquire skills and knowledge of multiple security technologies. It will be essential to build knowledge and experience of Network Security tooling and configuration and or Antivirus Offerings.


The role is to provide Security Services to DXC Security clients and DXC Technology as a whole.
